# Genetic data

The same participants are represented in all datasets listed below.

#### **Genotype array data**

The [genotype array data](/our-future-health/data-types/genetic-data/genotype-array-data.md) release contains information on 686,416 variants for 755,000 participants ([release 14](/our-future-health/data-releases/2026-data-releases/release-14.md), May 2026). These data were obtained using a custom Illumina Infinium Excalibur beadchip array, designed by Our Future Health in collaboration with Illumina.

#### **Imputed genotype data**

The [imputed genotype data](/our-future-health/data-types/genetic-data/imputed-genotype-data.md) release contains information on 159,587,100 variants for 755,000 participants ([release 14](/our-future-health/data-releases/2026-data-releases/release-14.md), May 2026). Imputation was performed using the UK Biobank 200k phased whole genome sequencing data as a reference panel.

#### **Genetic ancestry data**

[Genetic ancestry data](/our-future-health/data-types/genetic-data/genetic-ancestry.md) has been inferred for 755,000 participants ([release 14](/our-future-health/data-releases/2026-data-releases/release-14.md), May 2026) by applying a Global Ancestry Estimation (GEA) workflow developed by Genomics Ltd.

#### Genetic kinship data

[Genetic kinship data](/our-future-health/data-types/genetic-data/genetic-kinship.md) has been inferred for 755,000 participants ([release 14](/our-future-health/data-releases/2026-data-releases/release-14.md), May 2026).

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://ourfuturehealth.gitbook.io/our-future-health/data-types/genetic-data.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
